Bella Macchina! Tesla Opens Store In Italy
alarmClock Feb 15 11It doesn't not have the sexy, throaty roar of a Ferrari, but Tesla Motors (TSLA:NASDAQ) is bringing its cars to Italy as they opened a new store in Milan today with a star studded gala. Selling their electric roadster to the Italian market could be Tesla's best move yet outside of the states considering the country is quickly developing large solar plants. And with a generous feed-in tariff in place, the country should expect to see more solar plants like the 70 megawatt Rovigo facility in the near future. And more electricity from renewable energy could drive people to buy the more economical Teslas. Full story...
