Facebook To Printed Photo Book's Pixable Raises $2.1M

New York-based Pixable has received $2.1M in funding from Highland Capital. Pixable runs a service similar to the likes of Shutterfly in that it allows you to pay for the printing of your online photos. Pixables niche is that it exports your Facebook photos. Pixable says that it provides value vs. other printing services like Shutterfly due to: + Speed: If you wanted to print your (or your friends) Facebook photos today it might take a while. Just downloading Facebook photos individually, visiting a photo-printing site, then uploading, organizing, adding titles, and printing them can take five hours, says Pixable And that assumes that you know where the photos you want are as there is no easy way to collect all the photos in which you or someone else is tagged.
