Microsoft says Windows 7 battery flaw is false
Electronista Feb 08 10Microsoft has denied suggestions that Windows 7 has been causing various battery issues with notebooks, according to a Microsoft Developer Network blog post. The company allegedly worked through a series of tests to determine if the operating system was mistakenly presenting the "consider replacing your batteries" warning. The engineers claim that, in each of the testing scenarios, the notification was only presented if the battery was actually performing below certain standards.... Full story...
