Truphone launches 3.0 for the iPod touch

Ok, at this point, some of you are probably saying, "Hey, didn't you write about this back on April 29?" And, the answer is, "No!". Truphone has, for some reason, completely different versions of its free Voice over IP (VoIP) app for the iPhone and iPod touch. The 3.0 version for the iPhone was released in late April. The 3.0 version for the iPod touch emerged just yesterday. Confused? Me too. After wondering about this for a long time, I just sent email to Truphone asking why they have completely different versions for the iPhone and iPod touch while Fring and Skype manage to get by with just one version.
