Altruik Raises $4.7 Million In First Round For SEO Tools

SEO firm Altruik has raised $4.7 million in a first round of funding led by Greenhill SAVP. DFJ Gotham, First Round Capital, Javelin Partners, and Zelkova Ventures all participated in the funding.  The company’s platform is used by marketers to automatically optimize websites for search engine traffic. The three-year-old startup is led by CEO Eric Gertler, a media veteran who has been president of US News and World Report, Fast Company and Atlantic Monthly. Release.
