Mayfield Fund's managing director Tim Chang is obsessed with the whole quantified self movement, where people use gadgets to keep track of their health and fitness.
That's why he invested in mobile health monitoring company, Basis.
Chang told the crowd at Vator Splash that all his Asian friends love uploading photos of everything they eat on their social networks. This is also known as food porn.
Chang said we keep track of other aspects of our lives, from our Klout score to how much we exercise when we are at the gym. Right now, the whole quantified self movement is basically a bunch of early adopters bragging to each other about what they keep track of, Chang said. Full story...
