Yahoo cofounder Jerry Yang wants to raise money and buy the company back.
But Yang's cofounder, David Filo, is "not on the same page right now" regarding the direction of the company, a source close to the pair tells us.
Yang and Filo would need to be in cohoots Yang is going to get his way. Yang only owns about 3.6% of Yahoo. Filo owns 5.8%.
We reported Yang's interest in buying Yahoo last month. Reuters confirmed the news and added a bunch of helpful details over the weekend.
Yang is supposedly working with PE firms to raise enough capital to take the company private. Full story...
