Apple Aperture 3 gets official

The first signs of life from Apple are emerging this morning, and there’s a new version of Aperture to kick things off. Aperture 3 adds in improved photo organization – based on the same Faces and places features found in iPhoto ‘09 – as well as Adjustment Presets and Brushes. Meanwhile Apple have also extended their GPS and geotagging support, including the ability to drag non-tagged photos to their respective location, together with automatic slideshows with preset themes and music.
Brushes allows for instant editing and touching-up of photos without the need to boot up Photoshop, and there are 15 tools – including Dodge, Burn, Polarize and Blur – with which to make minor adjustments. Full story...
