Amazon recently picked Alpha House as one of its new original series coming to the company’s Instant Video streaming service. Making this the second big departure for Tumblr in just a few weeks, the company’s media director Mark Coatney (one of the initial employees at Tumblr) has announced that he’s resigning from his role at Tumblr. We’ve already been introduced to the BlackBerry Q10 on Verizon’s and T-Mobile’s network, but AT&T still has yet to join in on the fun. With their successes with the Google Nexus 4 and the Optimus G and G Pro, LG should at this point be more than ready to continue their drive into the future with more large-screened smartphone machines. AT&T has faced a lot of criticism over its restriction for using Apple’s FaceTime over cellular, and after months of the carrier saying that it would finally allow FaceTime over a data connection, users are now being able to video chat with friends and family over cellular using FaceTime. With the release of the first teaser images of the Huawei Ascend P6, it was instantly apparent that the manufacturer was gunning for the successful hardware build of the iPhone 5. Netflix made a huge impact with the younger crowd when it introduced “Just for Kids,” a dedicated section of Netflix that recommends TV shows and movies for young children to watch on a Saturday afternoon. With the announcement of iOS 7 last week, Apple showed off a handful of new features coming to the new mobile OS later this fall, including Control Center and an entirely new design that aims to be a flatter design than past iterations. Huawei’s new flagship is here, the Ascend P6, and the Chinese company has high hopes for the super-slim 6. The Xbox One made a grand entrance into the world late last month, and we were treated with even more goodies from Microsoft last week at E3 2013, where the press were able to get their hands on the new console.
