LG W2286L 22-inch combo LED HDTV and monitor

SlashGear  Jul 01 09

LG have announced their first LED combination TV and monitor, the W2286L, a 22-inch display with whopping 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio.  The 20mm-thick widescreen display supports up to 1,680 x 1,050 resolution and has two HDMI inputs.

It’s also relatively earth-friendly compared to the competition, requiring 40-percent less power than comparable 22-inch displays.  That’s partly due to the Auto Brightness feature, which adjusts backlighting depending on ambient conditions.

The LG W2286L is set to arrive in Korea soon, with a 24-inch model planned later in 2009. Full story...
