Voice activated mobile service Dial Directions that provides directions to cell phone users has been acquired by Sakhr Software. The software provides natural language processing in Arabic and the two will work together to bring real time translation to the mobile devices. With this users will simply have to say a phrase and the app would automatically provide the with its translation in text and in voice. The two have already rolled out apps for both the iPhone and the BlackBerry and will be released soon after it has been tested.
