The print media is eventually going to pave way for online content and newspapers might more or less be limited to an occasional appearance in the near future. I am not sure who is making the most out of archiving it but Google is definitely trying to make most of it. The giant has quadrupled newspaper copies in its News Archive Search which according to claims can search publications as old as 200 years. Now that’s keeping history alive and i bet it hasn’t given up on multiplying it even more. And is it only doing so to preserve information? I can bet that is a major reason, but it has all the AdSense to paste against each publication and make some cash out of it, but is that wrong?
