Amazon Boasts That Kindle Is Thinner

Is Amazon feeling the heat from Barnes & Noble’s Nook eBook reader? Well, if you’re the type who likes to read between the lines, maybe the statement from an Amazon PR guy might give off that vibe. He reminds us that the Kindle is 40% thinner, 10% lighter and has double the battery life compared to the Nook, not to mention that the Kindle is currently available, while the Nook won’t be shipping to you just yet.
