Just as promised earlier, Samsung announced that it shipped 10 million Galaxy S4s in less than a month. Cricket Wireless is readying the launch of no less than three new Samsung Android smartphones. The first one is the high-end Galaxy S4. Remember the Nokia Eos? Well, how could you forget, right? This is the phone that’s supposed to bring that insane 41 MP camera sensor first seen on the 808 PureView to Windows Phone. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is continuing its world tour, and throughout it more and more carriers everywhere are starting to offer it. As expected, today LG has officially introduced its first high-end waterproof smartphone, called Optimus GJ. While many are probably waiting for T-Mobile USA to launch the Nokia Lumia 925, the fourth largest North American carrier has just released the more affordable Lumia 521. Since Samsung is the incontestable leader of the global smarpthone market (32.7% of all shipments in Q1 2013), it’s no surprise that the South Korean company is also the largest smartphone vendor in China. We already know that the Nokia Lumia 925 will be available in the UK (as well as in other markets) starting June. Two new upcoming HTC smartphones have surfaced today, one getting itself certified in Taiwan, the other showing up in some benchmark results. Verizon Wireless is the last major US mobile carrier to start selling the Samsung Galaxy S4. Although its official launch day is May 23, those who’ve pre-ordered Verizon’s S4 last week (or earlier) are starting to receive it as of today – according to Droid life.
