Responsibilities: Develop next-generation software solutions and technologies for convergence of interaction and services in Digital TV and mobile devices Create software architectures for novel and creative solutions for next generation device interaction and the delivery of internet services to devices Prototype hardware and software solutions using internally and externally created solutions to demonstrate ideas around the company Contribute to the organization's strong drive to be on the cutting edge of technology through the generation of patentable ideas Create technical solutions to complex software issues while understanding software-development processes Ability to quickly learn/adapt to new technologies and apply them Qualifications/Skills: BS in Computer Science/Engineering or Electrical Engineering; MS or PhD preferred Minimum of 4 years' related experience in next generation TV and/or mobile software technologies Expertise in C, C++, and high-level programming concepts; additional expertise in scripting, HTML, Flash is preferred Solid understanding of software development processes, including: rapid prototyping, design, development of reusable code, and documentation Solid understanding of web based technologies including: video delivery over the internet, web server technologies (HTML, HTTP).
